Consecuencias psicosociales del embarazo no deseado en adolescentes.

Unwanted pregnancy is a problem that affects adolescents both psychologically and socially, therefore the objective of this study is to analyze the psychosocial consequences of unwanted pregnancy in adolescents. This research is descriptive level, bibliographic review, and quantitative approach, taking a sample of thirty articles that were qualified using the Critical Review Form - Quantitative Research (CRF-QS) methodological quality matrix. The results of this research mention that the most relevant psychological consequences are depression, anxiety, low self-esteem and suicidal tendencies, affecting the quality of life of both pregnant adolescents and their children, since it affects their daily performance, within the social consequences were found to be social exclusion, unemployment, poverty and shame, which cause adolescent girls not to be able to access higher education and end up not working or obtaining a job that does not generate enough income to support themselves, at the sametime they feel that they cannot continue with their life project and contribute to increasing poverty figures in the world. As you can see, adolescent girls are isolated from their social environment, which generates serious depression, deciding not to continue studying for fear of bad comments made against them and causing them shame, thus triggering future damage, such as caused by not continuing to study, thus preventing them from having the same job opportunities as their peers. ; El embarazo no deseado es una problemática que afecta tanto psicológica como socialmente a las adolescentes por lo tanto el objetivo de este estudio es analizar las consecuencias psicosociales del embarazo no deseado en adolescentes.
