      Michaelia heteropus (Michael, 1881) Materials examined. 2 males and 2 females from flight feathers of the great cormorant, Phalacrocorax carbo (Linnaeus, 1758) (Pelecaniformes: Phalacrocoracidae), Samsun, Türkiye, 19 January 2022, coll. The genus Michaelia includes five described species, and all of them are associated with cormorants (Phalacrocoracidae) in Africa, America, Asia, and Europe (Dubinin, 1953; Gaud and Atyeo, 1982; Hernandes et al., 2016).
