Forward dispersion relations for pi k scattering and the k-0(*)(800) resonance

This work consists of fits to the data that are constrained to satisfy analyticity requirements. The method yields a set of simple and consistent parameterizations that are compatible with forward dispersion relations up to 1.6 GeV while still describing the data.
