A identificação precoce de alunos com altas habilidades/superdotação

O presente trabalho tem como objetivo enfatizar a importância da identificação precoce de alunos com altas habilidades (AH)/superdotação (SD). Através de pesquisa bibliográfica, observou-se que inúmeros alunos com altas habilidades/superdotação não têm um atendimento adequado para desenvolver suas capacidades, o que ocasiona problemas de socialização e aprendizagem. Constatou-se que muitas das dificuldades que enfrentam são provenientes da falta de compreensão sobre o assunto, por parte da família, profissionais de ensino e pessoas de seu convívio. Após abordar a importância da identificação precoce, investigou-se: (a) o perfil dos alunos com altas habilidades/superdotação; (b) o processo de identificação de AH/SD; (c) o papel da família; e (d) como a inclusão deste aluno ocorre. A partir da identificação precoce, os alunos com potencial elevado podem ter um atendimento especializado e adequado; portanto, espera-se que esta pesquisa possa contribuir para o debate sobre o tema, no âmbito da educação. Abstract The present work aims to emphasize the importance of early identification of students with high abilities (HA)/giftedness (G). Through bibliographical research, it was observed that numerous gifted students do not have adequate care to develop their skills, which causes socialization and learning problems. It was found that many of the difficulties that these students face are due to the lack of understanding on the subject, on the part of the family, teaching professionals, and people they live with. After discussing the importance of early identification, it was investigated: (a) the profile of students with high abilities/giftedness; (b) the HA/G identification process; (c) the role of the family; and (d) how the inclusion of this student occurs.
