نبذة مختصرة : La alimentación de precisión es una rama de la ganadería de precisión que pretende mejorar la eficiencia de utilización de los nutrientes mediante un mejor ajuste de los suministros a las necesidades individuales de los animales. Debido a la variabilidad individual de los animales en los sistemas ganaderos, todavía existe un gran potencial para mejorar la eficiencia en los sistemas de producción ganadera adaptando mejor el suministro de nutrientes a los requerimientos del animal. Uno de los objetivos del proyecto Feed-a-Gene es encontrar potenciales biomarcadores entre la microbiota digestiva y el perfil metabólico del cerdo que ayuden a optimizar la eficiencia de utilización del alimento. ; Precision feeding is a branch of precision farming that aims to improve the efficiency of nutrient utilization by better adjusting the supplies to the animals’ individual needs. Due to the individual variability of animals in livestock systems, there is still a great potential to improve efficiency in livestock production systems by better adapting the supply of nutrients to the animal’s requirements. One of the Feed-a-Gene project aims is to find potential biomarkers between the digestive microbiota and the metabolic profile of the pig that might help to optimize the efficiency of food utili-zation.
