نبذة مختصرة : Optimization of public services for legal aid institutions plays a crucial role in supporting the poor to gain access to justice. Although Law Number 16 of 2011 has regulated legal assistance for those in need, the practice of its implementation is still hampered by a number of problems. The State has issued a number of regulations related to legal aid, both through laws and implementing regulations, as well as through initiatives from the Supreme Court and the Constitutional Court, which are regulated in Supreme Court Regulations and Constitutional Court decisions. The research identified several key obstacles, such as minimal budget allocation each case, limitations of accredited Legal Aid Institutions, and the absence of standardization of guidelines for the implementation of legal aid services. Thus, optimizing the public services of legal aid institutions is not only a practical step, but also a statement of commitment to ensure that the rights of the poor are respected and protected equally.
