      Teaching planning is essential for pedagogical practice. In this sense, this work aimed to understand the perspectives of teachers on teaching planning. Based on the qualitative approach of the research, questionnaires were applied to grade school teachers in the city of Jardim-Ceará. The research was supported by Farias (2011), Freire (1967), Santos and Perin (2013). It was observed that teachers recognize planning as an important pedagogical tool in their work, limiting, however, their conceptions to technical aspects of this action. It is concluded that it is necessary to understand planning as a field of Didactics that involves political, ethical and esthetic aspects of pedagogical practice. ; O planejamento do ensino é essencial para a prática pedagógica. Nesse sentido, o presente trabalho objetivou conhecer as perspectivas de professores sobre o planejamento do ensino. Com base na abordagem qualitativa da pesquisa, aplicou-se questionário semiestruturado com docentes do Ensino Fundamental, do município de Jardim-Ceará. A pesquisa amparou-se em Farias (2011), Freire (1967), Santos e Perin (2013). Observou-se que os professores reconhecem o planejamento como ferramenta pedagógica importante ao seu trabalho, limitando, no entanto, suas concepções a aspectos técnicos deste ato. Conclui-se que é preciso entender o planejamento como um campo da Didática que envolve aspectos políticos, éticos e estéticos da prática pedagógica.
