نبذة مختصرة : It seeks to approach the possibilities of using the comics of the character Asterix in History teaching because they have a versatility of themes that can be used in the classroom, such as concepts, ancient people, and historical places. The objectives are: to accomplish a literature review on this subject and demonstrate the applicability of Asterix stories in the History class. To this end, an analysis of books, articles and master’s dissertations on this subject was carried out. Comics are an interesting, instigating, and motivating source for History and the different Asterix stories can be well used in the teaching of Ancient History to make it funnier and more dynamic. ; Busca abordar as possibilidades de utilização dos quadrinhos de Asterix no ensino de História, pois possuem uma versatilidade de temas que podem ser trabalhados em sala de aula como conceitos, povos antigos e locais históricos. Os objetivos são: fazer uma revisão de literatura sobre o tema e demonstrar a aplicabilidade das histórias de Asterix em aulas de História. Para isso, foi feita uma análise de livros, artigos e dissertações de mestrado sobre este assunto. Os quadrinhos são uma interessante, instigante e motivante fonte de pesquisa em História e as diversas histórias de Asterix podem ser bem aproveitadas no ensino de História Antiga para torna-lo mais dinâmico e divertido.
