      The work, Sexuality: Representations of Teachers of the medium teaching is linked to the Educational Practices Line of Research in the Institutions of the Course of Master's degree in Education of Santa Maria's Federal University. This study is constituted in an investigation with qualitative approach, that looks for, starting from the teachers' of public schools glance and peculiar of medium teaching, to investigate the representations about sexuality that permeates the educational institutions in Santiago's city, RS, as well as to identify, to classify and to discuss the conceptions, actions in teacher practice and the students' aspirations involved in its social adapts. The information obtained starting from the realities was discussed through the theory of the Social Representations and as research instruments the semi-structured interview and the observation were used. Starting from the use of those resources, casting contents of the interviews that orientated the formation of categories and the approach with social representations were constituted by the groups. Those representations passed, later, to constitute the focus of the discussions, which were based by the theoretical referential, whose bases are in authors as: Foucault (1992, 2001, 2002), Freud (l976) Saviani (2001), Nunes (2001), Gomes (2002), Veiga (1997), Guimarães (1995), Stoll (1988). Kupfer (1989), Minayo (2000), among others. This work allowed verifying the multiple ideas and present images in each researched dimension. According to the positioning and arguments of the subjects, the theme was evidenced, opening new discussions and restructurings of the curricula on behalf of the improvement in its educational practices and, consequently of humanized formation process. The study demonstrated that the theme sexuality exercises influence on each one of the members of social relationships, through their cultures, life histories and politics of a context, becoming, like this, a complex plenty subject.
