Когниотипичность жанра

Bakhtin's idea of "metalinguistics" and his universal functional theory of speech genres inspires diverse research of intertextuality. Textual activity is now often regarded as basically experiential and non-reflexive. Hence, genre is perceived as based on tradition and prototype effect. It is argued here that only а mental-linguistic approach to genre analysis can help disclose the mechanisms of text production and understanding rooted as "gestalts" in human mind. Offered: а mental-linguistic model of genre - cogniotype; some procedures ofcogniotype modelling ; а revised version of genre typology; а new look on repr~sentation of declarative and procedural knowledge in genre-specific textual activity.
