Javni sektor obuhvaća dio ekonomije koji je pod kontrolom države, uključujući državne institucije i javna poduzeća. Kvaliteta života građana uvelike ovisi o učinkovitosti tog sektora. Ovaj rad bavi se analizom javnog sektora Hrvatske u kontekstu Europske unije. Cilj rada je ispitati stanje hrvatskog javnog sektora unutar EU, s fokusom na definiciju pojma europeizacije i javnog sektora, te kako on funkcionira unutar europskog okruženja. Također će se razmotriti načini financiranja i veličina javnog sektora u Hrvatskoj. Da bi se izbjegli problemi u radu javnog sektora, potrebno je osnovati stabilne institucije koje će biti otvorene za komunikaciju s javnošću, te spremne uvoditi nova rješenja i inovativne usluge. ; The public sector encompasses the part of the economy that is controlled by the state, including government institutions and public enterprises. The quality of life of citizens largely depends on the efficiency of this sector. This paper analyzes the public sector in Croatia within the context of the European Union. The aim of the paper is to examine the state of the Croatian public sector within the EU, focusing on the definition of Europeanization and the public sector, as well as how it operates within the European framework. The paper will also consider the methods of financing and the size of the public sector in Croatia. To avoid problems in the functioning of the public sector, it is necessary to establish stable institutions that are open to communication with the public and ready to implement new solutions and provide innovative services.
