نبذة مختصرة : A matemática está presente no cotidiano das pessoas as auxiliando no desenvolvimento das ações diárias. É necessário que as pessoas aprendam matemática de forma contextualizada e que se possa ver e compreender um conteúdo abstrato de forma concreta. Pensando desta forma, compreendemos que ensinar matemática com jogos pode ser uma forma de viabilizar o aprendizado. Sendo assim, objetivamos com esta pesquisa analisar se o uso de jogos educativos no ensino de matemática influencia na motivação da aprendizagem dos alunos do 6º ano da Escola Municipal Angélica Gurgel, do município de Fortaleza-CE. Nosso referencial teórico está pautado nos estudos de Grando (2000), Lorenzato (2006), Chevalard (1991) e Santos e Oliveira (2014). Como metodologia foram aplicadas algumas sessões didáticas com jogos matemáticos e avaliações diagnósticas de entrada e de saída. No final, foi possível verificar que as turmas que tiveram as atividades com jogos tiveram um aumento significativo do desempenho. ; Mathematics is present in people's daily lives, helping them in the development of daily actions.
