Description of Cybersex Behavior among Students in Makassar City

Cybersex is a form of sexual behavior that is carried out indirectly (online sex activity), the form can be in the form of accessing pornography online, watching pornography via VCD or DVD and doing real time (chatting, video calling and phone sex) them doing it with fantasy and masturbate. This study aims to determine the factors that cause the inability to restrain sexual desire, the reasons for choosing cybersex over direct sex and self-meaning after frequent cybersex. Criteria for student participants who often do cybersex. The research method used is qualitative with data collection techniques using semi-structured interviews. Data analysis technique in this study used the Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA) method. The results of data analysis show that the factors that cause the inability to restrain sexual desire are lust, partner, stress, curiosity and try then the reason for choosing cybersex is safe, avoiding disease, fantasy, exploring and distance.
