نبذة مختصرة : Organisational listening is an inherent feature of corporate communication. Through listening, organisations learn about the perceptions of their stakeholders and learn to make decisions based on dialogue and an open relationship. When listening becomes a real and effective habit of gover- nance, institutions assess their legitimacy in the environ- ment and their reputation in the public eye. In the university sector, listening is also an ideal way to seek shared solutions in an already complex institutional context. In this article, the author reflects on the foundations of organisational lis- tening and describes a professional listening practice as ap- plied at the University of Navarra. With its challenges and limits, the case is presented as a reasonable opportunity that can help universities strengthen their relational dimension, assess their reputation and qualify their governance.
