      William is an 8-year-old student who has not yet consolidated his literacy process and has changed schools. When changing the institution, he began to have problems with coexistence and increased difficulties related to content. In their daily lives, verbal and physical aggressions and enormous resistance to carry out activities were common. With the change of teacher and openness to listening, William began to express what he felt and was welcomed. After that, adaptations were made in their activities and daily interventions to restructure their coexistence with the school community. At the end of the school year, it was possible to notice significant pedagogical and socio-emotional advances from the interventions carried out by the pedagogue. The following work is intended for teachers in training, with the aim of promoting discussion about teaching methodologies in the learning process. ; William es un alumno de 8 años que aún no ha consolidado su proceso de alfabetización y ha cambiado de escuela. Al cambiar de institución, comenzó a tener problemas de convivencia y aumentaron las dificultades relacionadas con los contenidos. En su vida diaria eran comunes las agresiones verbales y físicas y una enorme resistencia para realizar actividades. Con el cambio de maestro y la apertura a la escucha, William comenzó a expresar lo que sentía y fue bienvenido. Posteriormente, se realizaron adaptaciones en sus actividades e intervenciones diarias para reestructurar su convivencia con la comunidad escolar. Al finalizar el curso escolar, se pudo notar importantes avances pedagógicos y socioemocionales a partir de las intervenciones realizadas por el pedagogo.
