      We live in a technological era, and in this scenario, there is a constant and rapid change, adaptation or innovation, and for us Brazilians, it is somewhat difficult, some innovations, technologies and concepts come to us so late, that often, when we reach them already are considered obsolete. In the educational field it is no different, concomitantly, the legacy of the COVID-19 pandemic left deep marks in our country, there was a setback in the elaboration and implementation of public policies, as well as in the transfer of educational investments, several institutions almost collapsed, thus harming, the performance of many Brazilian students. Observing these problems, the proposed contribution of this research work is to innovate the teaching of literature, through the game of RPG (Role Playing Game, from English: character interpretation game) as a main tool adapted to teaching (FVnexA), providing a deeper, more meaningful, playful and inclusive teaching experience, focusing on a versatile and simple teaching/learning process. The authors who supported this work were Matos (2020), Cosson (2011), Coscarelli (2010), Riyis (2004), Marcatto (1996), Botrel; Del Debbio (1999), among others. There is also a proposal for a didactic sequence based on the work of Cosson (2014), as well as its execution in a high school class, whose results showed that the practice of RPG in the classroom contributes in an extremely positive way to teaching/ learning of literature as we will see in this research. ; Vivemos em uma época tecnológica, e neste cenário, há uma constante e rápida mudança, adaptação ou inovação, e para nós brasileiros, é um tanto quando difícil, algumas inovações tecnologias e conceitos nos advém tão tardiamente, que muitas vezes, quando às alcançamos já são consideradas obsoletas.
