A entrevista e os estudos das Literaturas Africanas em português

Este artigo defende que os livros de entrevistas fazem parte, “de pleno direito”, da história e da biblioteca crítica das literaturas africanas de língua portuguesa. Referimo-nos, em particular, à coleção de entrevistas Encontros com escritores de Michel Laban, publicada entre 1991 e 2002, e ao volume de depoimentos de escritores moçambicanos Vozes moçambicanas. Literatura e nacionalidade de Patrick Chabal, publicado em 1994. Trata-se de contribuições incontornáveis para a construção dos estudos das literaturas africanas de língua portuguesa que veicularam importantes mapeamentos dos espaços literários nacionais africanos. Partindo de uma introdução sobre a entrevista literária, procura-se compreender de que modo estes investigadores conceberam a entrevista como forma de construção do conhecimento em contextos literários e culturais periféricos, emergidos da dominação colonial. Consideram-se também outras experiências análogas e mais recentes para se refletir sobre a atual relevância da entrevista nos estudos destas literaturas. ; This article argues that books of interviews form a “full right” part of the history and critical library of African literature in Portuguese. We refer, in particular, to the collection of interviews with writers by Michel Laban, published between 1991 and 2002, and to the volume of testimonials by Mozambican writers Vozes Moçambicanas. Literatura e Nacionalidade by Patrick Chabal, published in 1994. These are unavoidable contributions to the construction of studies of African literature in Portuguese, which also conveyed relevant maps of African literary national spaces. Starting from an introduction about the the literary interview, the aim is to understand how these researchers conceived the interview as a form of knowledge construction in peripheral literary and cultural contexts, which emerged from the colonial domination. Other similar and more recent experiences are also considered in order to reflect on the current relevance of the interview in the studies of these literatures. ...
