نبذة مختصرة : Partindo da analogia entre maiêutica socrática e mediação, o presente artigo, num primeiro momento, procurará evidenciar as aproximações e distanciamentos entre as duas, para, posteriormente, avançar com uma proposta de aplicação da primeira como ferramenta da segunda. É pois uma primeira tentativa de construir um conjunto de perguntas baseadas no método maiêutico no interior da mediação. Conclui-se que este método, através da perscrutação dos pontos de vista das partes, poderá ser útil quer no processo reflexivo com vista ao entendimento, quer no reconhecimento de princípios atinentes à prática da mediação; ao mesmo tempo, promove a autonomia das partes envolvidas num determinado conflito. ; Starting with the analogy between Socratic maieutics and mediation, this article will first attempt to show the points that bring them together and set them apart, so as to then present a proposal for the application of the first as a tool for the second. This is a first attempt at building a set of questions based on the maieutic method within mediation.
