; Objectives: To present established nursing diagnoses and goals, as well as planned and implemented interventions in the implementation of anorexia nervosa health care. Case: The case study depicts a patient with AN who was diagnosed with: social isolation related to changes in health and appearance; powerlessness related to shame; low self-esteem related to fear of gaining weight; disturbed body image related to fear of obesity; high risk for self-harm related to feelings of helplessness, loneliness, or hopelessness. Nursing interventions that were adjusted and personalized were implemented, and the problems were resolved. Conclusion: A multidisciplinary approach is important in the treatment of patients with AN, and nurses are frequently the first point of contact for people with eating disorders in order to lay the groundwork for recovery. This is especially true for patients who may be unaware of a problem. It is critical to recognize and capitalize on these patients' strengths.
