    • نبذة مختصرة :
This item includes a segment of a student interview in a Writing Intensive course in Social Work at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. The interview was conducted in 2013, and in this clip the interviewee is responding to the question 'What elements of your writing performances would you identify as strong or successful, and why? What defines success for you? What do you think determines success for this instructor?' ; Brief excerpt from interview: Because [the individual in the case study] was a local boy and since I'm a local boy, I felt like I could connect with him more, and I could understand him a little better by writing this paper. I never thought of it that way--that we do have a few students that are not from here in our class, and I wonder how they felt writing this paper.
