    • نبذة مختصرة :
Scabies is a parasitic infectious disease that is still a public health problem in the world, including Indonesia. Scabies can be transmitted through direct and indirect contact with the greatest prevalence in children, densely populated populations, and poor sanitation and hygiene. Symptoms and signs of scabies include papules, vesicles, pustules, or nodules accompanied by itching at night with a predilection for a thin epidermal layer. This study is a case report that aims to examine the accuracy in diagnosing and providing pharmacological and nonpharmacological treatment of scabies patients with secondary infection. We report an 18-year-old male patient who presented with scabies which was accompanied by a secondary infection. We describe the management that we provide, namely pharmacological and non-pharmacological in the form of communication, information, and education.
