El presente estudio consiste en el análisis textual y comentario del proceso traductor de tres textos franceses de divulgación científica sobre astronomía del siglo XIX: Exposition du système du mondede Pierre-Simon Laplace, Sur la planète Neptunede Urbain Le Verrier y Astronomie populairede Camille Flammarion. Nuestro objetivo es analizar y resolver las dificultades que plantean los textos científico-técnicos e históricos, para aportar una traducción correcta desde el punto de vista terminológico, lingüístico y pragmático. Debido a la extensión de los originales, hemos realizado una selección de fragmentos de distinta temática, aunque la astronomía es el tema central de todo el conjunto. Nuestra metodología de trabajo parte con un planteamiento teórico en el que se exponen las características y dificultades de las tipologías textuales, además de un breve recorrido por la divulgación científica sobre astronomía en la Francia del siglo XIX. La segunda parte del estudio es el análisis textual y la justificación razonada de algunas de las decisiones traductológicas de nuestra propuesta. ; This study consists of the text analysis and the commentary in the translation process of three scientific dissemination texts about astronomy written by French astronomers from the 19th century: Exposition du système du monde, by Pierre-Simon Laplace, Sur la planète Neptune, by Urbain Le Verrier, and Astronomie populaire, by Camille Flammarion. Our aim is to analyse and solve the difficulties that scientific, technical and historical textsposes and to produce a correct translation from the terminological, linguistic and pragmatic point of view. Due to the extension of the originals, we have chosen a series of extracts about different subjects, although astronomy is the base of the whole work. Our methodology begins with a theoretical approach about the main characteristics and difficulties of textual typologies. The second part is the text analysis; we also justify some of the translation decisions that we made in our proposal.
