نبذة مختصرة : This article analyzes the requirements for accounting policies and financial statements of commercial banks. The accounting policy determines the methods and principles of reflecting the bank's financial operations. Banks' financial reports should be prepared based on international financial reporting standards (IFRS) and national legislation. The article examines in detail the main types of statements - the balance sheet, the income and expense statement, the cash flow statement, and the statement of changes in equity. Also, international experience and national practices are compared, and the need to improve the accounting policy is emphasized.
