Concepções e orientações da Organização Internacional do Trabalho para a juventude e suas inter-relações com o trabalho e tecnologia ; Conceptions and guidelines of the International Labour Organization for youth and their interrelations with labor and technology

Youth is a social sector that has faced important contradictions in today's capitalist society, such as high unemployment, low wages, lack of prospects. The objective of this dissertation is to analyze the conceptions of the relationship between work and technology that determine the general guidelines for youth in the documents of the International Labor Organization (ILO) for the period 2008-2020, asking ourselves how the ILO understands the situation of youth in history and how it defines the current period. For this, we carried out a document analysis based on eight documents from the organization that make up the regularly published study entitled World Employment Trends (TME) for the years: 2008; 2010; 2012; 2013; 2015; 2016; 2017; 2020. We understand that in the current phase of capitalism, the life of working youth is in an extremely precarious situation at work and in their living conditions. International organizations have played an important role in organizing and directing capital needs in the most different countries, through studies, research, prospecting, etc., of which the ILO expresses one of these organizations. We conclude that the concepts that guide the analyzes presented by the ILO defend a bourgeois worldview; guided by technological determinism and defense of the current capitalist mode of production, the international organization presents a conception of youth with a strong economicist bias, the rapid insertion in the labor market under increasingly alienating molds and justification of conditions of inequality by the naturalization and individualization of capitalist contradictions. ; Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior (CAPES) ; A juventude é um setor social que tem se deparado com importantes contradições na sociedade capitalista atual, como alto desemprego, baixos salários, falta de perspectivas.
