نبذة مختصرة : Objective: To understand the discourses of medical and nursing students and teachers regarding interprofessional education (IPE) in perinatal maternal health. Materials and method: Qualitative study involving textual, contextual, and sociological discourse analysis from a socio-hermeneutic perspective. Effective implementation of IPE requires skills such as empathy, effective communication, and teamwork, alongside the development of spaces for dialogue and collaboration. Overcoming hierarchies and power dynamics, as well as reducing competition, is essential for its successful integration. However, within these discussions, there is a clear desire to foster interprofessional dialogues to ensure effective collaborationamong health professionals in maternal-perinatal care. ; Objetivo: comprender los discursos de estudiantes y docentes de medicina y enfermería frente a la educación interprofesional (EIP) en la salud materno perinatal.
