This scoping review protocol is part of the full scoping review under the project titled "Gender inequality in health and health care in Luxembourg and other European countries". This project is conducted by the Socioeconomic, Environmental Health and Health Services (CARES) research group, Department of Precision Health at Luxembourg Institute of Health. This scoping review will apply intersectionality to understand gender inequality in health, examining how gender-based health inequality manifests in society. The review aims to identify individual characteristics (i.e., material possessions, socioeconomic position, socio-cultural identities, and behavioral factors) and environmental factors to provide an overview of gender inequalities in health.
