نبذة مختصرة : Introduction: The present study is the result of quantitative-qualitative research that investigated the profile of affiliates of the Brazilian Association of Regional Alzheimer's of Rio de Janeiro (ABRAz-RJ) between the years 2010 and 2019. OBJECTIVES: To identify the socio-epidemiological profile of its associates and offer subsidies for the entity to propose actions appropriate to the demands of its associates. Methodology: The management and analysis of the information collected were carried out through the Excel 2019 program and adopted an exploratory cross-sectional study design of a quantitative nature, based on the descriptive epidemiology of the distributions of simple frequencies related to population variables related to age, profession and place of residence. Then, individual contact was made with the associates who informed their e-mail when registering, by sending an electronic questionnaire to know the motivations for seeking the ABRAz-RJ and the repercussions of Alzheimer's Disease (AD) in the lives of the respondents. The project was approved by the Ethics and Research Committee (CEP/HUAP), CAAE Nº. 63666322800005243. Results: A total of 859 registration forms were analyzed and a total of 608 associates were contacted by e-mail. However, of the total number of messages sent, only 07 responded to the survey. The analysis of the records confirmed the residence of the associates in the State of Rio de Janeiro, mostly women, aged over 60 years and without training in the health area.
