Curadoria e feminismos: processos de criação em exposições de arte contemporânea

The present research belongs to the line of Creation and Poetic Processes of the Daily Life, of the Postgraduate Program in Visual Arts at the Federal University of Pelotas. Its general objective is to understand curatorial processes, considering identity design as a mediating agent, in exhibitions under social themes - such as the feminist movement. Therefore, its specific objectives are to investigate the curatorial environment and feminism in contemporary times in order to present the two pillars of this study, which are: 1. Curatorship; 2. Feminism; and carry out an exhibition project based on the proposed investigations. The theoretical construction in reference is based on authors and authors such as Suely Rolnik (1989; 2017; 2018), Hans Ulrich Obrist (2010) and Cristiana Tejo (2010; 2011) on curation; Heloisa Buarque de Hollanda (2018), Michelle Perrot (2007) and Françoise Vergès (2020) addressing feminisms; Ellen Lupton (2013), Ruben Pater (2020) and Helen Armstrong (2019) when dealing with design. The first part seeks to review the bibliography on curatorship, build a history of the field and establish concepts and relationships relevant to writing. In a second step, it expands the research to feminism where it intends to review the history of the movement and reflect on its current context. In the end, with practice, it aims to connect previous issues with design when designing an exhibition and exploring ways of printing the identity of social movements in curatorial projects. ; A presente pesquisa pertence à linha de Processos de Criação e Poéticas do Cotidiano, do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Artes Visuais da Universidade Federal de Pelotas.
