نبذة مختصرة : Traditional learning in deliver the materials with lecturing method that usually used in teaching and learning process. By using that learning model, the students had lack of vocabulary. Blended learning is a combination of traditional learning and electronics-based learning characteristics. Blended learning can also be used to describe other mixtures, such as combining different learning methods, and technology learning style approaches to create an optimum result. The aim of this study was to improve the students‟ vocabulary by using blended learning model in SMA N 4 Bandar Lampung. This research was classroom action research. The population of this research was the eleventh-grade students of SMA Negeri 4 Bandar Lampung. The subject of this research was the students of eleventh grade of IPS 3 at SMA N 4 Bandar Lampung. In this research was consisted of four essential „moments‟: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The data completed from pretest and posttest. The data analyzed by qualitative and quantitative data analysis. After implementing blended learning, the students were more enthusiastic and active in joining the lesson. Besides, their achievement also improved, as shown by the mean score in cycle 1 of post-test (77.09) an increase of the students‟ achievement from pre�test (67.28). while in cycle 2 mean score in posttest was (81.56). It also can be seen from pretest that was (77.66). Based on the research finding above, the researcher concludes that teaching vocabulary using blended learning can improve the students‟ vocabulary mastery.
