نبذة مختصرة : Drawing on the intensification of the school inclusion guideline as a public policy in Brazil, Special Education in transversality with Youth and Adult Education (EJA) advises the schooling of young people and adults with disabilities to be carried out in the common classes of EJA with due equal conditions for students to participate and develop their learning in these school contexts. Therefore, in this study, I analyze the educational indicators of access of the public with disabilities to EJA in Brazil and in the State of Rio Grande do Sul (RS), from 2015 to 2022. In addition, I discuss the removal of barriers in the school contexts of EJA with a focus on curricular accessibility and Specialized Educational Service. Qualitative and quantitative methods are combined, through documentary, bibliographic and statistical studies. The indicators under analysis point out the challenges of school inclusion in EJA in the dimension of access to regular schools in Brazil and RS, with the prevalence of EJA enrollments in specialized spaces in RS being observed. Curricular accessibility for the subjects of Special Education in EJA is discussed as a pedagogical device that is associated with the recognition of the multiple identities of the target audience, the meanings of both modalities in dispute, the conceptions of curriculum and Special Education support. The Specialized Educational Service is characterized in relation to the functions of EJA with emphasis on its training dimension.
