نبذة مختصرة : The widespread deployment of wireless network, mobile computing and positioning devices is pushing Location Based Services toward the era of ubiquitous and ambient intelligence. This article attends to provide a paradigm to treat objects in such information environments. An idea based on space and time partitioning is suggested. A logic-based framework for representing and reasoning about qualitative spatial relations over moving objects in space and time is proposed. We motivate the use of influenceability relation as primary relation and show how a logical calculus can be built up from this basic concept. We provide convincing evidence of this theory, by demonstrating how it can provide a framework model of topological relations in space as well as in time. The expressivity power of the proposed framework is shown with possible application in policy conflict resolution in ambient intelligence.
