نبذة مختصرة : This study aims to develop education in Indonesia in the new normal era. This research uses qualitative methods that are descriptive. The subjects of this study were students and teachers, while the object in this study was online learning. The data collection technique uses the method triangulation technique which is carried out by means of observation, documentation, and literature study. Analysis of research data using the method of analysis by Miles Huberman (1994) which consists of three stages, namely the reduction stage, the display stage, the withdrawal stage and the conclusion verification. The results show that improving the quality of learning in the new normal era can be realized if educational institutions always strive for innovations by utilizing tools or technology and applications that support online learning. A study can change attitudes, skills, and behavior of students according to educational goals. As a sustainable system, the quality of education still depends on the quality of the components that make up the system, and the learning process carried out by teachers and students can produce satisfying and optimal learning outcomes
