      Istraživanje konkurentnog tržišta usmjereno je na pronalaženje i usporedbu ključnih tržišnih metrika koje pomažu u prepoznavanju razlika između proizvoda i usluga jednog poduzeća i onih njegovih konkurenata. U sektoru distribucije hrane i pića takvo istraživanje tržišta je sveobuhvatno i orijentirano je analizu metrike uspjeha konkurenata i njihovih strategija u distribuciji hrane i pića koje mogu biti bolje ili lošije u odnosu na predmetno poduzeće, ali mogu biti i smjernica kako da poduzeće koje analizira konkurenciju unaprijedi svoje poslovanje. Sveobuhvatno istraživanje tržišta pomaže uspostaviti temelje za učinkovitu prodajnu i marketinšku strategiju koja pomaže takvom poduzeću da se istakne iz gomile. Predmetna analiza konkurencije u teorijskom smislu i na dva aplikativna primjera ukazala je na veliku važnost i potrebu za analitikom konkurencije za sva poduzeća u distribuciji hrane. Istima ovo može biti od velike pomoći pri orijentacijskim strategijama napretka i ostvarenja zavidne tržišne pozicije u odnosu na konkurenciju. ; Competitive market research focuses on finding and comparing key market metrics that help identify differences between a company's products and services and those of its competitors. In the food and beverage distribution sector, such market research is comprehensive and is oriented towards the analysis of competitors' success metrics and their strategies in the distribution of food and beverages, which may be better or worse in relation to the company in question, but can also be a guideline for how the company analyzing the competition can improve your business. Comprehensive market research helps lay the foundation for an effective sales and marketing strategy that helps such a business stand out from the crowd.
