    • نبذة مختصرة :
The aim of the study was to investigate the effect of virtual reality in rehabilitation for children with cerebral palsy. Methods: Fullerton equilibrium test, non-equilibrium coordination samples (according to Schmitz, 1988), W.W. Evaluation of Hoeger posture, Barthel index, evaluation of joint amplitudes. Research tasks: 1. To investigate the balance, posture, joints‘ amplitudes and self service skills of children with cerebral palsy. 2. To investigate the balance, posture joints‘ amplitudes and self service skills of children with cerebral palsy after 10 rehabilitation sessions using a virtual reality device. 3. To evaluate the effect of the applied exercises on the balance, posture, joints‘ amplitudes and self service skills of children with cerebral palsy. Hypothesis - Virtual reality has a positive effect on the rehabilitation of children with cerebral palsy. Conclusions: Virtual reality therapy improved the subjects' balance (non-equilibrium coordination samples) (p <0.05), self service skills, and improved left and right arm flexion, extension, retraction, external and internal rotation amplitudes, left and right amplitudes of right thigh flexion, extension of retraction, retraction, external and internal rotation, amplitudes of left and right foot flexion, thoracic-lumbar spinal flexion and rotation amplitudes. Posture havn‘t changed after virtual reality therapy.
