نبذة مختصرة : There are many people who I wish to thank for their participation in my advancement in the archive and library field. To begin with I would like to thank the past staff of the University of Georgia’s Ilah Dunlap Little Memorial Library’s Media Center including Linda Elkins, John Miley, Linda Tadic, and the one who is still here with me, Anja Behm. From there I wish to thank the staff of New York Public Library’s Donnell Media Center Marie Nesthus, Joe Yranski, Elizabeth McMahon, Michael Diekman, Johnny Gore, and former staff Joan Byrd, and David Callahan. They were instrumental in my introduction not only to New York but also to collections development, programming, media literacy and advocacy, and the nuances of being employed by one of the largest public libraries. I would also like to thank the staff of Franklin Furnace for their continued work in “making the world safe for avant-garde art”. Those there Martha Wilson, Dolores Zorrequieta, Harley Spiller, Michael Katchen, and formerly Sunny Yoon, and Tiffany Ludwig were all warm and open about their work, and I learned much about the
