نبذة مختصرة : Concepts such as job satisfaction and organizational commitment have long been of interest to managers. Gathering reliable data, however, can be challenging. Unlike data that reflects quantities, such as numbers of hours worked or components assembled, latent variables cannot be measured directly and must be inferred from observed data on employee perceptions. Determining which observed data is relevant to appropriately identify latent variables lies in the realm of construct measurement. This research focuses on the effects of measurement construct choices on important workplace variable relationships.
