نبذة مختصرة : Artigo (especialização) - Universidade Federal de Santa Maria, Centro de Educação, Curso de Especialização em Educação Especial - Déficit Cognitivo e Educação de Surdos, EaD, RS, 2010. ; This research has the pretension of discussing the resources and accessibility of deaf students in a municipal high school in the municipal district of Gravatai. In this sense, it intends to trouble the speeches which permeate the relations of ability and knowledge, orientation, normality, deaf alteration among deaf students and hearing students. By means of this paper, it was possible to build a debate surrounding the representations about the deaf person as a subject, his/her conceptions, from the differences and acknowledging to the right to education to all people, to school knowledge, in an effective and qualified way. In this sense, it intends to trouble the speeches which permeate the relations of ability and knowledge, orientation, normality, deaf alteration among deaf students and hearing to school knowledge, in an effective and qualified way. ; Esta pesquisa tem a pretensão de discutir a inclusão de alunos surdos em uma Escola Municipal de Ensino Médio do município de Gravataí. Nesse sentido, pretende problematizar sobre as adequações elencadas como necessárias e importantes ao funcionamento e execução deste projeto de inclusão na escola. Também se pôde construir um debate acerca das representações sobre o surdo como sujeito, suas concepções, partindo das diferenças e reconhecendo o direito de todos à educação, aos saberes escolares, de forma efetiva e qualificada. A proposta de trabalho é a de investigar como os alunos surdos, incluídos na rede regular de ensino, percebem esse processo de inclusão. A Educação Inclusiva é uma realidade e deve ser investigada de forma a contribuir para o desenvolvimento de políticas educacionais que atendam, efetivamente, às necessidades educacionais desses indivíduos, em busca de sua equidade social.
