نبذة مختصرة : In the future, gasohol will gradually replace the traditional gasoline used for internal combustion engines. However, during storage, by with the presence of ethanol, gasohol is easily absorbed by water. When the water content in gasohol reaches a certain value the phase separation will occur. In this research, we survey on the factors that affect the process of phase separation of gasohol (E5, E10) sush as ethanol content, contaminated water content in the gasohol during the transportation and the stockage. We have added to the gasohol the fuel additives such as isoamyl alcohol (IAA) and triethylamine (TEA) in order to limit the phase separation. Research results showed that IAA, TEA can be used as additives for anti-phase separation. The mixture of these two additives in the gasohol creates significant efficiency.
