نبذة مختصرة : This article consists of an experience report of a Psychology Professional Internship, developed in a public elementary school in the municipal public network, located in the metropolitan region of Porto Alegre, state of Rio Grande do Sul (Brazil) and served by the Serviço Escola de Psicologia (School of Psychology Service) of Faculdade Cesuca. After making observations, we analyzed the hypothesis of creating bonds of trust between the students and the intern, essential for the therapeutic process, obtained through the work developed at the educational institution. The observations made the students’ existential and contextual issues noticeable, presenting the reality and the family configuration, in addition to the aspects relevant to the community in which the school is inserted. The presence of the psychologist in the school environment provided an opportunity to understand the importance of being incorporated in this scenario, to identify the demands, to understand them in all their specificities and thus plan and execute psychological interventions, promoting the emergence and strengthening of bonds, which are fundamental for the proposed objectives to be achieved. The students’ spontaneous search for the intern’s empathic listening demonstrated the identification with her, making it possible to sign some contracts for the provision of psychology services not only with students, but also with parents. ; O presente artigo consiste em um relato de experiência de Estágio Profissional em Psicologia, desenvolvido em uma escola de ensino fundamental da rede pública municipal, localizada na região metropolitana de Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul - Brasil e atendida pelo Serviço Escola de Psicologia da Faculdade Cesuca.
