نبذة مختصرة : Introduction: The admission to an university can originate several changes on lifestyle, causing healthy problems to students and leaving then vulnerable to chronic noncommunicable diseases (NCD) risk agents. Methodology: An observational epidemiological study was made with 38 students, of both genders, after a year of course, using a self-responsive semi-structured questionnaire with questions about sociodemographic, life habits and sleep quality, as well as anthropometric measures were collected and the estimated BMI were calculated. Results: The data revealed that after a year there was an increase on obesity prevalence (+2,7%), smokers (+7,9%) and sleep disturbs (+8,0%); and presented a decrease on the alcohol consume frequency (-2,6%), physical activity practice (-2,7%), and good sleep quality (-7,9%), as well as the number of students with enlarged waist circumference (-15,8%), and pre obese (-2,6%). Yet the behavioral factors presented evolution on stress levels (+7,9%) and anxiety (-5,3). The frequency of healthy diet self-referenced remained unaltered. Conclusion: From the analyses was possible to reveal the university students profiles after a year of course and identify high prevalence of NCD risk factor, even as bad sleep quality between then. However, is a consent that this life period is determinant to the students future health , and that’s why interventions should be directed to minimize, or even to end up with, antagonists close ups on their life quality. ; Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso (Graduação) ; Introdução: O ingresso em uma universidade pode provocar diversas mudanças no estilo de vida, acarretando problemas de saúde para o estudante, deixando-os vulneráveis aos agentes de risco para doenças crônicas não transmissíveis (DCNT).
