Drawing on these principles, it develops a theoretical framework for reconceptualising the corporate form under UK law. The article explores the justifications for this approach, including the need to promote long-term corporate success and address intergenerational equity concerns. It lays the groundwork for future research on operationalising this framework within the UK legal context.
