Um sistema de controle e registro acadêmico para uma universidade

Schools and Universities in general, need to manipulate a great amount of information stored in several files that, with time, make the control academic slow and unable to offer an acceptable service quality. Some institutions prefer to acquire commercial software for the administration of the directory of academic registration. Several Academic Center with the purpose of acquiring a better performance opted to develop an appropriate tool to their needs. The main objective of this work is to evaluate the use of the academic administration in the processes of administration in the Directory of Academic Registration -DRA. With base in the accomplished investigation, a model was proposed, implemented through a tool capable to control the student academic information, the registration process, the teacher registers, besides supplying for larger comfort of students and teachers, the consultation possibility and insert of notes and frequency through the system online. For the development of the model and tool were used concepts and techniques of academic administration and of software engineering. ; As Universidades em geral precisam manipular uma grande quantidade de informações armazenadas em diversos arquivos que, com o tempo, tornam o controle acadêmico lento e incapaz de oferecer qualidade no atendimento aos alunos. Algumas instituições preferem adquirir sistemas comerciais para o gerenciamento do diretório de registro acadêmico. O Centro Universitário de Itajubá - UNIVERSITAS, com o propósito de adquirir um melhor desempenho, optou por desenvolver uma ferramenta adequada às suas necessidades. O objetivo principal deste trabalho é avaliar o uso da gestão acadêmica nos processos de administração do registro acadêmico - DRA.
