      The educational system today has an important task to prepare young people for active professional activity in various fields. Professional education will require updating and replacing the initial process with new standards, current technologies, new developments about the world and the place of people in the new world. Today, one of the most popular gaming strategies is the Kahoot platform. Kahoot can be used to est and assess students’ knowledge and as a departure from the traditional form of classes. A new platform called Kahoot was created in 2012 by teachers and students at the University of Norway.  n the spring of 2013, Kahoot has a basis for a cultural competition based on a lecture quiz. In the initial process, the Kahoot platform has become a handy tool for creating tests that can be used as a method of conducting ongoing control of students’ knowledge, self-initiation and self-control, preparation for modules and examinations. A team of young scientists of the Kharkiv Polytechnic University created the first “Municipal Kahoot Championship in Natural Sciences†in the history of our country for students of 10–11 grades. Over the past two years, a number of popular science games have been created — from IT technologies, physics and chemistry to foreign languages and business. These games are used not only for distance learning with students, but also in the work of the central admissions committee of NTU "KhPI" with the aim of familiarizing graduates and students of schools in the Kharkiv region with our university — primary scientific institutes, departments and specialties. In this way the Kahoot service is used for the purpose of career guidance for schoolchildren and students.
