نبذة مختصرة : This course completion work aims to record the trajectory of Aldeia Lagoinha, belonging to the Terena ethnic group and located in the District of Taunay, Aquidauana – MS. Given the responsibility attributed to the younger generation to maintain the narratives of the elders, it was decided to carry out interviews with the alders, bibliographical research, organize photographs belonging to the Terena families that were part of the research, as well as record new photographs, access and consult documents such as school minutes, local churches and community in general, as well as other existing documents. The current chief, Leveson Vicente, leader of the community, highlights the importance of education and sustainable development for future generations. The work is organized into seven subtopics, addressing the structuring, creation and maintenance of the cultural aspects of the Terena community. At the end, directions and the relevance of future research in the construction of documents that maintain the history of the community are presented. This study is not limited to recording the history of Aldeia Lagoinha; It also represents a significant personal achievement for the author and, therefore, for the Terena people. It reinforces the importance of maintaining indigenous memory and culture, through research carried out by indigenous researchers themselves. ; O presente trabalho de conclusão de curso tem como objetivo registrar a história da Aldeia Lagoinha, pertencente à Terra Indígena Taunay/Ipegue, situada no Município de Aquidauana - MS. Diante das responsabilidades atribuídas aos estudantes indígenas pelos moradores ás gerações mais jovens, esperam-se que os estudantes, universitários realizem um registro de sua história para manter as narrativas dos anciãos sempre presente em nossas memórias.
