Legal agglomeration and undetermined death: prision economy and COVID-19 ; Aglomeração legal e morte indeterminada: economia prisional e pandemia da COVID-19

O texto tem por objetivo problematizar os impactos de algumas medidas estatais de enfrentamento a pandemia ao novo coronavírus no sistema prisional brasileiro. O diálogo é produzido com base nas literaturas temáticas contemporâneas e nas reflexões coletivas e documentos apresentados pelo Mecanismo Estadual dePrevenção e Combate à Tortura do Rio de Janeiro. Os dados revelam que as estratégias adotadas pelos órgãos que compõem o sistema de justiça criminal e o sistema prisional potencializam a proliferação da Covid-19 entre presos e presas, promovendo a política de morte do estado e fortalecendo ações privadas lucrativas fundamentais a reprodução do neoliberalismo. ; The text aims to problematize the impacts of some state measures to combat the pandemic of the new coronavirus in the Brazilian prison system. The dialogue is based on contemporary thematic literature, collective reflections and documents presented by the Rio de Janeiro State Mechanism for Preventing and Combating Torture. The data reveal that the strategies adopted by the bodies that make up the criminal justice system and the prison system enhance the proliferation of COVID-19 among inmates, promoting the state's death policy and strengthening profitable private actions fundamental to the reproduction of neoliberalism.
