نبذة مختصرة : ToThe UNA-SUS System was created with the purpose of providing continuous and distance training to health professionals, especially those linked to the Unified Health System (SUS). In order to achieve this objective, the System relies on three interrelated pillars: UNA-SUS Network, Arouca Platform and the Collection of Health Educational Resources (ARES). Thus, the institutions that make up the Network are responsible for prospecting and creating educational resources in health, which are offered through the Arouca Platform and, when closed, made available in open access on ARES. In this context, the UNA-SUS System is able to facilitate the reuse of its educational resources in the long term and free of charge. Given this, we seek to verify whether the closure of a course on the Arouca Platform has had repercussions on its availability on ARES, as originally planned. To achieve the desired results, an exploratory and descriptive research with a quantitative approach was applied. It is concluded that ARES brings a total of 949 resources described in the “Multimedia material” collection, which refer to the course as a whole or its parts (modules) since the Arouca Platform has 300 closed courses, of which 92 are available in ARES or which represents a total of 30.66%. In view of the results, it is concluded that the institutions may be facing a problem in the insertion of these materials or that it is necessary to optimize the description and search system of the repository.
