نبذة مختصرة : New style poetry was a prominent phenomenon of Vietnam’s literature in general and of its poetry in particular in the 20thcentury; right after its appearance, it quickly asserted an outstanding position in the Vietnam’s modern literature. However, it also became a controversial issue for a long time. This article aims to affirm the strong value of new style poetry innovation which marked the milestone of modern poetry of Vietnam on the way to communicate and integrate with the world’s poetry. ; Thơ mới là một hiện tượng nổi bật của văn học Việt Nam nói chung và thơ ca nói riêng trong thế kỷ XX; vừa ra đời đã nhanh chóng khẳng định vị trí xứng đáng trong nền văn học Việt nam hiện đại. Song nó cũng là tâm điểm tranh luận sôi nổi có khi gây gắt trong một thời gian dài. Bài viết nhằm khẳng định sự đổi mới mạnh mẽ của Thơ mới, đánh dấu bước đầu hiện đại hoá thơ ca Việt Nam trên con đường giao lưu và hội nhập với thơ ca thế giới.
