نبذة مختصرة : I In this digital era, social media is becoming a new alternative for students to face pandemics, in conducting interpersonal relationships with each other. This study aims to explain the state of student interpersonal communication in detail during the Covid-19 pandemic, as well as to know the patterns of interpersonal communication of students in carrying out their daily lives. The formulation of this research problem is how the state of interpersonal communication of IDIA regular students in the pandemic, and how the interpersonal communication patterns of IDIA regular students face the pandemic. This study uses qualitative method with phenomenological study approach, data collection using interview, observation and documentation method. The checking of the validity of data using triangulation and addition of participation. The subject of this study was aimed at students of Regular Islamic Communication and Broadcasting (KPI) IDIA Al-Amien Sumenep, while data analysis there are three, namely: data reduction, data presentation, and verification/withdrawal of conclusions. The results of this study describe the interpersonal communication of students during the pandemic that is less effective with fellow student friends, lecturers and their families. And regular KPI student communication patterns can be categorized into 4 how: 1) primary communication patterns. 2) secondary communication patterns. 3) linear communication patterns. 4) particular communication patterns.
