Las TIC en el aprendizaje de español : El uso de las tecnologías de información y comunicación por parte de los alumnos suecos para promover su desarrollo en la lengua ; ICT in learning Spanish : The use of information and communication technologies by Swedish students to develop their language skills

In the passed years the world has watched a large development in the technological sector. This progress has affected deeply the way of living in most of the societies. The young generations are those who were born in this new technological world and are great consumers of communications technology. Based on researchs about how young people use digital resources, the following questions were brought up: do Swedish students use frequently information and communications technology (ICT) to increase their knowledge in Spanish as in the school environment as outside? Do they use new computer games, Skype, Facebook, YouTube or any new applicative to learn Spanish? Is there any specific group wich uses internet more than the others students in its studies? The instrument chosen to collect data were a questionnaire answered by High Schools students who have Spanish as their second foreign language. The results showed that the new technological tools are poorly used for the most of the students for learning Spanish outside the school.
