نبذة مختصرة : In the following work we examine the Educational Practices of the José Albino Pimentel Municipal Elementary School, located at the Gurugi-Ipiranga quilombola community in the city of Conde, Paraíba. Our goal is to analyze the school’s pedagogical practices in order to identify if they are based on the principles and fundamentals of Rural Education and Popular Education. Our qualitative research employed both category analysis and semi structured interviews, developed according to the theoretical bases of category analysis of Rural Education, Popular Education and Pedagogical Practice. The research has identified that the Albino Pimentel School develops traditional pedagogical practices linked to the official curricular programs (BNCC and the Educar pra Valer program), but also other practices that incorporate elements aligned with rural and quilombola education through the following projects: Clamores Antigos, which involves puppetry and african-descended dances like côco de roda and maculelê; and Jornal Mural, a newspaper created and managed by students that tackles the news through the lenses of the Gurugi-Ipiranga quilombola community’s problems and questions. These pedagogical practices involve teachers, students, and community members, incentivize students to take on the role of protagonists, and value rural peoples’ labor, land, culture, history, memory, and identity. ; No trabalho tratamos das Práticas Educativas da Escola Municipal de Educação Infantil e Ensino Fundamental José Albino Pimentel, da Comunidade Quilombola do Gurugi- Ipiranga, Conde/PB, com o objetivo geral de analisar as práticas pedagógicas da escola, buscando identificar se elas se fundamentam nos princípios e fundamentos da Educação do Campo e da Educação Popular.
